The Last Gas Station In Texas... Somewhere on a backroad between Dallas and Houston, My buddy Jules and I stopped at a gas station. When our boots hit the ground, we found that we were among the last people in Texas. It was as if the rapture came and left us behind. The only sound was that of the wind picking up dust peppering my windshield. It was a strange sensation. I immediately pulled out my Canon AE-1 to capture the moment. After refueling and stocking up on provisions, we continued onward, eventually regaining contact with society about 5 miles down the road.
